12th NLIU-VKC Law Offices National Corporate Law Moot, 2026.

The Final Round on the concluding day featured a closely contested round between ILS Law College, Pune and the Faculty of Law, GLS. The round was adjudicated by a distinguished bench comprising Hon’ble Dr. Justice Chillakur Sumalatha (Judge, High Court of Karnataka); Hon’ble Ms. Justice Mini Pushkarna (Judge, Delhi High Court); Prof. (Dr.) Ghayur Alam (Senior Professor, NLIU Bhopal); Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Yadav (Dean, Postgraduate Studies, NLIU Bhopal); and Mr. Varun Kumar Chopra (Managing Partner, VKC Law Offices). The Valedictory Ceremony was graced by Prof. (Dr.) S. Surya Prakash, Vice-Chancellor, NLIU Bhopal, along with the esteemed judges, who shared valuable insights with the participants.

The 2nd NLIU-IALR Arbitral Award Drafting and Presentation Competition 2026 concluded on January 25, 2026, marking the successful completion of its on-campus phase at the National Law Institute University, Bhopal.

1st NLIU-CLE Khaitan & Co. Certificate Course on Banking and Finance Through the Lens of Law and Economics

The Centre for Law and Economics (CLE) at National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU), in collaboration with Khaitan & Co., organized the 1st NLIU-CLE Khaitan & Co. Certificate Course on Banking and Finance Through the Lens of Law and Economics on 9-10 January 2026. The two-day programme was designed to introduce participants to the legal and economic dimensions of banking and finance practice.

NLIU CLT Tectonic Fair

The 5th edition of Techtonic 2026 took place from January 16 to January 18, 2026. The event focused on the intersection of law, technology and public policy. It featured distinguished dignitaries and senior associates from prominent law firms, including Nishith Desai Associates, Cyber Peace Foundation, CAM, AZB, and Saraf & Partners.
